INVOLVEMENT IN OBTAINING USE PERMITS AND CONCESSIONS ON PROPERTY IN COSTA RICA – We have been involved in the concession and use permit process for oceanfront maritime zone property for over eight years. We have also spearheaded a new and ongoing effort to secure Concessions for Playa Zancudo real estate. After 6 months of work, our personal concession application was finally filed in May of 2008. In June of 2008 it was one of the only properties on Playa Zancudo to have an active application that had been approved by the Golfito Municipality.

LOCAL BI-LINGUAL REAL ESTATE AGENTS – Two of the owners of Latitude 8 Realty (a subsidiary of Latitude 8 Lodge, SA) are Costa Rica citizens; one is a Costa Rica resident and others have their residency applications pending. Our real estate sales manager is a very bright Costa Rica citizen who was born and raised on Playa Zancudo and educated in the USA.  She brings both local knowledge and professionalism to the business with a strong knowledge on Playa Zancudo real estate history. We also employee two other Costa Rica real estate agents who are both Costa Rica citizens; one focusing on non-maritime oceanfront property in the Pavones, Golfito, Pilon areas near Playa Zancudo, while the other realtor concentrates on the Osa and Drake Bay real estate market for both titled and oceanfront property.
